NCTF: The Skin Revitalising Treatment Everyone Is Talking About

If your skin is feeling dull, tired, dehydrated, crepey or just a little flat, NCTF may be exactly the kind of treatment your skin has been waiting for.

At DermaBalance, we are launching NCTF in three different ways: as a microneedling mesotherapy treatment, as an injectable skin booster, and as our most advanced option - the NCTF Signature Skin Revitalisation, which combines both techniques for a more complete skin-quality treatment.

NCTF is not about changing your face. It is about improving the condition of the skin itself: hydration, glow, texture, elasticity, firmness and overall radiance.

What Is NCTF?

NCTF 135 HA, developed by FILLMED, stands for New Cellular Treatment Factor. It is a skin revitalising formula designed to support tired, dehydrated or ageing skin by delivering a blend of hyaluronic acid and skin-supporting nutrients directly into the skin.

FILLMED describes NCTF 135 HA as a CE-licenced injectable polyrevitalising solution containing non-crosslinked sodium hyaluronate, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, coenzymes, nucleic acids and antioxidants. The brand describes it as helping to create a better environment for fibroblast activity, the cells involved in collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production.

In simple terms?
It is designed to give the skin the ingredients it needs to look fresher, healthier and more energised.

What Does NCTF Contain?

One of the reasons NCTF is so popular in skin clinics is its formula. It contains a large cocktail of skin-supporting ingredients, including:

  • Hyaluronic acid for hydration and plumpness

  • 12 vitamins, including vitamin A, C, E and B vitamins

  • 24 amino acids, which support skin structure and repair

  • 6 minerals to support healthy skin function

  • 5 nucleic acids, involved in cellular renewal

  • 6 coenzymes, including NAD and NADP

  • Glutathione and other supportive ingredients for antioxidant support

FILLMED lists NCTF as containing 60 active ingredients, including non-crosslinked sodium hyaluronate and a wide range of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, coenzymes and nucleic acids.

That is why NCTF is often described as a “skin quality” treatment rather than a filler. It is not designed to create volume or alter facial shape. Its focus is on the skin itself.

What Skin Concerns Can NCTF Help With?

NCTF may be suitable for clients who feel their skin is:

  • Dull or lacking glow

  • Dehydrated

  • Fine-lined or crepey

  • Tired-looking

  • Uneven in tone or texture

  • Less firm than before

  • Less elastic

  • Showing early signs of ageing

  • In need of a general skin refresh

Published research describes NCTF 135 HA as a bio-revitalising solution containing hyaluronic acid, designed to help compensate for skin dehydration, fatigue and fine wrinkles.

At Dermabalance, we particularly like NCTF because it fits beautifully with our philosophy: improving the skin without over-treating the face.

Why Is Everyone Talking About NCTF?

There has been a big shift in aesthetics over the last few years. More clients are moving away from obvious changes and are asking for treatments that make them look fresher, healthier and more rested, without looking “done”.

This is where treatments like NCTF sit so well.

It is used by many skin and aesthetic practitioners as part of a skin-quality approach, either on its own or alongside other treatments. A 2025 international practitioner survey reported that NCTF 135 HA is used in combination therapy by clinicians, including for concerns such as skin quality, melasma and rosacea-related contexts, although it should not be seen as a stand-alone cure for these conditions.

FILLMED also notes that NCTF can be used in different ways, including mesotherapy, microneedling and other superficial delivery methods, depending on the treatment plan and skin goals.

How We Offer NCTF at DermaBalance

At Dermabalance, we are launching NCTF in three treatment options, so we can tailor the approach to your skin, comfort level, goals and budget.

1. NCTF Mesotherapy Using Microneedling

This option uses a microneedling technique to create controlled microchannels in the skin while applying NCTF topically during the treatment.

This is a lovely option for clients who want a more gentle skin-revitalising treatment without injectable microdroplets.

It may be especially suitable if your main concerns are:

  • Dullness

  • Dehydration

  • Uneven texture

  • Early fine lines

  • General skin freshness

  • Skin that needs a “wake-up”

Think of this as a way of helping the NCTF serum reach the more superficial layers of the skin while also gaining the collagen-stimulating benefits of microneedling.

2. NCTF Skin Booster

This is the injectable version of NCTF, where small amounts are placed into the skin using a skin booster technique.

This allows us to target the dermis more directly, which may be more suitable for clients wanting a stronger approach to:

  • Deeper dehydration

  • Crepey skin

  • Fine lines

  • Loss of elasticity

  • Skin density

  • Tired or ageing skin

Unlike filler, this treatment is not about adding volume or changing your facial features. It is about improving the quality of the skin from within.

FILLMED describes NCTF as helping with glow, firmness, elasticity, skin density and a tightening effect, while supporting fibroblast activity and collagen fibre production.

3. NCTF Signature Skin Revitalization

This is our most complete NCTF treatment and the one we are most excited about.

The NCTF Signature Skin Revitalization combines both approaches:

  1. Microinjections to deliver NCTF into the deeper dermal layer

  2. Microneedling with NCTF to target the superficial dermis and deeper epidermal layers

This means we are working through multiple levels of the skin in one treatment.

The injectable element supports deeper hydration, skin density and dermal revitalisation, while the microneedling element supports texture, glow, superficial hydration and collagen stimulation closer to the surface.

In other words, we are not just putting something on the skin and hoping for the best. We are creating a layered, intentional treatment that supports the skin from both the deeper and more superficial structures.

Why We Love the Combination Approach

Skin is not one flat layer. It has different depths, different functions and different needs.

That is why the combination treatment makes so much sense.

The deeper dermis is where we want to support hydration, elasticity, firmness and collagen activity. The more superficial layers are where we often see dullness, rough texture, crepiness, dehydration and lack of radiance.

By combining NCTF injections with microneedling, the NCTF Signature Skin Revitalization allows us to treat the skin more comprehensively.

It is ideal for clients who want:

  • A more noticeable glow

  • Improved hydration at multiple levels

  • Better skin texture

  • Fresher, healthier-looking skin

  • Support for fine lines and crepiness

  • A more regenerative approach

  • A treatment that improves skin quality without changing facial shape

This is very much a “skin health” treatment rather than a “look different” treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

This depends on your skin, your goals and the method we choose.

Some clients may notice a fresher glow after one treatment, but for best results, NCTF is usually recommended as a course. A typical plan may involve a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart, followed by maintenance.

At your consultation, we will assess your skin and recommend the best option for you. You may be better suited to microneedling, injectable skin boosters, or the Signature combination treatment.

As always, we do not make the client fit the treatment. We make the treatment plan fit the client.

Is There Downtime?

Downtime will vary depending on which NCTF treatment you have.

With NCTF microneedling, you can expect some redness, warmth and mild sensitivity afterwards, similar to a typical microneedling treatment.

With injectable NCTF skin boosters, you may experience small bumps, redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising at injection points. These are usually temporary.

With the Signature combination treatment, downtime may be slightly more noticeable because we are combining two delivery methods, but we will talk you through exactly what to expect before treatment.

Is NCTF Right for You?

NCTF may be a beautiful option if your skin is not necessarily “bad”, but it just does not feel like itself.

Many clients describe this as:

“My skin looks tired no matter what I do.”
“My makeup is not sitting well.”
“My skin feels dehydrated but products are not enough.”
“I do not want filler, I just want better skin.”
“I want to look fresher, but still like me.”

That is exactly where NCTF can fit.

At Dermabalance, we use treatments like this as part of a bigger skin health approach. Sometimes NCTF will be the right choice. Sometimes your skin may need barrier repair first, pigmentation support, DB Hydra, polynucleotides, peels, skincare changes or internal wellness support.

The consultation helps us decide what your skin actually needs.
